Montana has been, and always will be, home. I was born and raised in Montana and my Great Grandmother homesteaded here in the late 1800s making my roots run deep. I spend as much time in the beautiful outdoors as possible riding dirt bikes, snow biking, camping or exploring in our Jeep.
I have over 20 years of sales and finance experience working in the Powersports business and real estate has always been an interest. With my years of sales experience, local knowledge, and a true passion for this state, I look forward to using my skills helping clients find their dream home or property. As a member of Flathead County Search & Rescue, I have experienced her lakes, rivers, and trails and have snowboarded her slopes as a Whitefish Mountain Resort Ambassador. Being outside and assisting others top my list of favorite things, and they go together like s’mores and a campfire.
My wife and I delight in sharing our favorite Montana rituals with friends and family (swim in Hidden Lake, anyone?), and we are grateful to share the natural gifts of our son’s birthplace with him.
While Montana will always be home, my career spans from Manhattan to San Francisco. I am a high-touch service expert with over 30 years’ experience in hospitality. The result? I love what I do and where I do it. My grandparents homesteaded a small farm in eastern Montana, raising 6 children in the ‘20’s and ‘30’s. Montana is a part of me. It is with great satisfaction that I get to share my passion for Montana with clients every day. Getting people to talk about their dreams and making those dreams come alive is what drives me. Real estate doesn’t feel like work to me; it’s simply more of the thrill and energy I feel when bicycling, motorcycling or snowmobiling. That push for excellence. That knowledge that my legal education, life experiences, and hard work will bring success; bringing you face to face with your dreams. Because when it is done well, we end up with a lot more than a home in paradise, we end up with good friends for life.

After traveling the globe cooking and serving in some of the world's finest restaurants, Scott realized home is in the mountains. Scott joined Deaton & Co. fours years ago after spending eight years in Vail, Colorado. He and his wife (Jamie) and their rescued lab mix (Ace) decided to head north to their dream community of the Flathead Valley. Northwest Montana offers everything this active, adventure seeking, nature-loving couple can think of, while also having a strong sense of community. Fast-forward 5 years and now Scott & Jamie have welcomed son Blake! Whenever possible, Scott can be found skiing the slopes of Whitefish Mountain, hiking local trails with Ace, golfing with friends, or exploring Glacier National Park. Scott continues his lifelong passion and commitment to hospitality by assisting others along the seamless transition of buying and selling real estate. We’ve been blessed with the ability to purchase land and embark on a journey of building our once in a lifetime home in beautiful Lakeside. As a family, we’re passionate about discovering all that this incredible area has to offer and living our best lives here in Big Sky country.
Before becoming a realtor, I owned a caregiving company matching
adults with special needs to the best possible caregiver. I also drove a school bus for children with special needs and found that my passion begins with helping others. Since moving to Montana, I’ve decided to move confidently in the direction of a personal, long-time dream of mine – connecting people with the right real estate opportunities.
